Members and Committees
The Augusta-Richmond County Public Library Board of Trustees consists of 13 members, representing the Richmond County Districts, the County Commission, and the Richmond County Legislators. The Members are:
Mr. Loran Gray. Mr. Gray represents District 2.
Mr. Gary Swint. Mr. Swint represents District 10.
Ms. Jacqueline Johns. Ms. Johns represents District 6.
Ms. Amy Lawson. Ms. Lawson represents District 7.
Ms. Linda Lumpkin. Ms. Lumpkin represents District 8.
Ms. Mary Davis. Mr. Davis is the County Commission's representative to the Library Board.
Ms. Brenda Morton. Ms. Morton represents District 1. She is the Board's president.
Ms. Kimberly Yarbrough Ms. Kimberly Yarbrough is the President of the Friends of the Library, and serves in an Ex Officio capacity on the Board.
Ms. Magdalene Newland. Ms. Newland represents District 3.
Ms. Faye Smith. Ms. Smith represents District 5.
Ms. Audrey Thomas. Ms. Thomas is a legislative representative to the Board.
Ms. Margaret Whaley. Ms. Whaley is the representative for District 9.
The following Richmond County Board members also serve on the Regional Library Board: Loran Gray, Gary Swint, Linda Lumpkin, Brenda Morton, and Faye Smith. Audrey Thomas serves as Chairman of the Regional Library Board.
