Computers

The East Central Georgia Regional Library system offer public computers for a variety of needs at each library location: 

Internet access, word processing and other office applications, database research, email, children's educational programs, and entertainment. The Wallace Branch Library also has a computer lab; several classes there are taught on topics from basic computer or Internet use to how to use Word and other Microsoft Office applications. See the calendar for more information on these classes.  Please read our Computer Use policy and feel free to contact the library if you have any questions.

 

  • Installed software: Microsoft Office Professional Suite 2007, to include Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Word.

  • Windows 7 Enterprise Operating System (XP Professional at some)

  • Helper applications, such as Adobe Acrobat Reader, Windows Media Player, Real Player

  • Access to research databases

  • Public printing for a small fee

  • Wireless access is available at some libraries. Look here for more information.
